Triển lãm Ô tô Việt Nam Vietnam Motor Show 2024 opens at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). Unlike the last event, this year's event lacks the display booths of luxury car manufacturers, but does feature motorcycle brands.

The event takes place from October 23 to October 27 with the participation of 19 brands (cars and motorcycles) including: Mitsubishi, Honda (cars), Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, GAC, Toyota, MG, BYD, GAZ, Isuzu, Honda (motorcycles), SYM, Yamaha Motor, KTM, UM Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, and Husqvarna.

At VMS 2024, some car models were introduced to Vietnamese users for the first time such as: Toyota Camry hybrid sedan, Honda Civic hybrid sedan, Isuzu D-max 2024 pickup truck, MPV BYD M6, Subaru Crosstrek hybrid, BYD U8, MPV GAC M6 Pro, new generation Skoda Kodiaq, Suzuki Jimny...

 (Vietnam Motor Show 2024) khai mạc tại Trung tâm Hội chợ và Triển lãm Sài Gòn (SECC). Khác biệt so với lần tổ chức gần nhất, sự kiện năm nay thiếu vắng gian trưng bày của các hãng xe sang, nhưng có sự tham gia của các thương hiệu xe máy.

The difference between VMS 2024 and previous times is the presence of booths from motorbike and large-displacement motorbike brands. Notably, Honda has officially introduced to Vietnamese customers two electric motorbike lines CUVe and ICONe. In addition, for the first time, the large-displacement motorbike brand UM Motorcycles appeared.

VMS 2024 only featured a few concept models such as Toyota FT-3e, 2 Yamaha motorcycle concept models... No car company attending this year's exhibition demonstrated future technology.

Vietnam Motor Show 2024 is organized in cooperation with the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Vietnam Automobile Importers Association (VIVA) and the Vietnam Motorcycle Manufacturers Association (VAMM).

According to the organizers, VMS 2024 has the theme "Open technology for a green future", with environmentally friendly electric and hybrid vehicle solutions. However, in reality, at VMS 2024, there are not many commercial electric vehicle models planned to be sold in the Vietnamese market, except for electric vehicles from BYD, or electric motorbikes from Honda.

During the 5 days of Vietnam Motor Show 2024, car manufacturers will organize special shows, introducing car models. Visitors can buy tickets directly at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) or through the official website.
